Dr. Andrea I. Hart

Passionate, determined, and driven are just some of the words used to describe Dr. Andrea I. Hart. Dr. Andrea endeavors to be a change agent and catalyst that brings healing, preservation, and restoration to each person she touches. Dr. Andrea is committed to teaching and inspiring others to conquer their health, wealth, and mindset challenges and create a purposeful life.  

Dr. Andrea has a background in Psychology, holds a Masters degree in Public Health, and has a Doctorate in Education. She is also nationally certified in health education and is a licensed minister. Dr. Andrea has worked in the health care and education industries for over 19 years. Professionally, Dr. Andrea is an educator, author, entrepreneur, and consultant. Dr. Andrea currently has the pleasure of leading a growing institution, Impact College, a school focused on biblically- based leadership training, as the college’s President.  

Dr. Andrea also holds a teaching appointment at a local university teaching mental, and emotional health. Dr. Andrea’s past endeavors include being the CEO and owner of a medical staffing and home care agency and founding a faith-based 501c3 organization dedicated to the empowerment of women spirit, soul, and body. Dr. Andrea is very active in her church and various community organizations and coalitions. Dr. Andrea is an inspiring writer, speaker, and author. She is the author of the book God Still Heals: Keys to Activate God’s Healing Power in Your Life. Her work can be found online and in print. She currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida with her husband, Royce.

Dr. Lauren R. Carroll

VP & Chief Medical Officer Advantage Health Centers

Dr. Lauren Carroll currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Advantage Health Centers, a health agency dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare and support services to metro Detroit, Michigan community. She is dedicated to the service of disadvantaged populations both in the United States and abroad, conducting medical and faith-based missionary work in South Africa, Haiti, Tanzania, Peru, and Jamaica. Along with her administrative duties, Dr. Carroll also conducts patient care in the specialties of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Dr. Carroll obtained her Bachelors of Science with a major in Food Science and concentration in Business at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. She obtained her Medical Doctorate at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Currently, she is pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee Haslam School of Business.  

Along with her work in the discipline of medicine, Dr. Carroll has served in the ministries of children and youth outreach for over 15 years. Her mission is motivate others to improve their health physically, mentally, and emotionally through the love of Christ.  

Kimberly T. Austin

Relationship Coach & CEO of OCD Cleaning Services 

Kimberly Austin is a proud native Detroiter and a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Ecology and Education. She is also a Certified Career Development Facilitator with 18+ years’ experience in education. Her experience includes teaching, training, facilitating and coaching youth & adults in career development, workplace readiness and leadership competencies. Kimberly is a graduate from Rhema Bible Training Center where she received a Certificate in Ministry with some training in relationship, crisis and trauma coaching.  

Kimberly has training in several research-based relationship programs such as P.I.C.K. a Partner for singles, FOCCUS Pre-martial Inventories, LINKS & PREP for married couples, Connections (Dating & Emotions) for teens and Smart Steps for Stepfamilies. She provides relationship coaching services for married couples. Having held a position as Dean of Students in a high school for several years, she has proven and effective skills in mediating through conflict, inspiring to purpose and coaching stressful parent/child relationships.  

She is a passionate bible teacher and has served youth, college students, women groups, singles and couples in the areas of relationships growing up spiritually and finding life’s purpose for over 20 years. Her heart is sincere for all people. She believes there is greatness potential in everyone and is elated at the opportunity to help people discover their strengths!  

Kimberly is the former Executive Director of the Marriage Resource Center, a community based nonprofit company that provides a wealth of services for couples, families & individuals to become healthy and successful in relationships & life, adding strength to our communities. Kimberly is driven and self-motivated with a positive expectation for the wonderful future God has for her!

Tanika Forrestal, LMFT

President of Relationship Rescue Academy, LLC; Co-founder of BetterBlackMarriages.com

For almost 15 years Tanika Forestal has devoted her life’s work to assisting couples with creating a more fulfilling relationship. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Tanika Forestal has had the opportunity to impact marriages across the U.S. and internationally with her private marriage intensives as well as in private practice in central Indiana. Tanika earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Michigan State University and her Master of Arts degree in marriage and family therapy from Christian Theological Seminary.  

She is the President of Relationship Rescue Academy, LLC and the co-founder of BetterBlackMarriages.com. Tanika along with her husband EL travel the United States teaching and speaking to couples and women from all walks of life to assist with creating the best love and life they are willing to work for.  

Her expertise has been noted in Ebony and Essence Magazine for her innovative ways of reaching African Americans and debunking myths concerning therapy and the black community. She has been fortunate to coach and successfully impact the marriages of well- known celebrities, professional athletes and anyone wanting to take their relationship to the next level.
